Bruxismo do Sono e Sindrome da Apneia Obstrutiva do Sono em crianças. Revisão narrativa

Bruxismo do sono (BS), tem sido uma entidade controversa em termos de sua definição, prevalência, diagnóstico e tratamento. SAOS de síndrome de apnéia do sono obstrutiva em crianças é definido como um distúrbio da respiração durante o sono, caracterizada por obstrução parcial, prolongada das vias aéreas superiores ou bloqueio completo e intermitente (apnéia obstrutiva do sono), que interrompe o sono normal ventilação e o padrão normal de sono, com a presença de sinais e sintomas. Ambas as entidades estão sendo cada vez mais objeto de estudo e tópicos de papéis em Odontopediatria, por isso é que esta revisão da literatura, que inclui a evidência cientifica disponível mais relevante, bem como informações provenientes dos recentes desenvolvimentos científicos feitos sobre o assunto na América Latina.
